OhioLINK supports open access in a variety of ways, from the first open access (OA) Electronic Theses and Dissertation collaborative started in 2001 to our current support for Open Education Resources (OER) and our OA pilot with Wiley.

Library-led affordable learning initiatives at institutions of higher education are gaining traction in Ohio and help the efforts of students and faculty alike. OhioLINK recently joined the University of Minnesota’s Open Textbook Network (OTN), a consortium of colleges and universities working to advance open textbook initiatives.
The Ohio Technology Consortium (OH-TECH) delivers world-class technologies, information and expertise to benefit academic, government and industrial researchers and boost Ohio's economy. OH-TECH is comprised of three member organizations: the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC), the Ohio Academic Resources Network (OARnet) and the Ohio Library and Information Network (OhioLINK). We hope to become your resource for news and information on supercomputing, networking and library trends.
