Kent State University plans to award associate degrees to students enrolled in four-year programs (Cleveland.com) – Kent State has announced that it will be granting associate degrees to students who earn their bachelor degree.

 

Ohio State licenses health-care data analytics software to Signet Enterprises (Columbus Business First) – Ohio State recently received $275k as an up-front payment to license a health care data analytics software, the largest up-front payment OSU has received for a license.

College degree programs are on chopping block (Crain’s Cleveland) – To help stem costs and refocus their curriculum a number of colleges are examining which degree programs they may want to suspend. U of Akron has found 55 programs that it is considering cutting or scaling back.
