Aid sought for Ohio students seeking 2-year degrees (The Columbus Dispatch) The leaders of Ohio’s public community colleges want lawmakers to set aside $20 million so their students can again draw money from the state’s largest need-based financial-aid program. Supporters say that the lack of financial aid is preventing many Ohioans from earning higher degrees and filling the numerous open positions available in Ohio for skilled workers.

"Believe in Ohio" will encourage high school students to become innovators and entrepreneurs (Cleveland.com) Believe in Ohio will introduce high school teachers and students to STEM research and development and venture programs through online and in-class programs and regional forums. The pilot program will have its first forum in February.
