The Legal Risks of Moving to the Cloud (Industry Week): While companies look to expand their use of cloud-based computing, there are aspects of the transition that every manufacturer should know before they move valuable information outside their company walls. Such risks are associated with a new legal environment and other aspects that come before the positive attributes of the cloud.

MOOCs could help 2-year colleges and their students (Chronicle): While many community colleges have shown resistance toward massive open online courses (MOOCs), Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates sees them as an opportunity. Gates urges the college leaders to provide resources to instructors on the use of MOOCs and techniques to integrate technology into teaching.
