Brazil’s Home-Grown MOOC (Inside Higher Ed) – Veduca has brought MOOCs to Brazil by translating courses into Portuguese. Unique to Veduca there is a certification process that students can complete through the Brazilian Ministry of Education.

Europe launches RoboEarth: “Wikipedia for Robots” (R&D Magazine) – Designed by a team of European researchers the RoboEarth website will allow researchers to share design and programming information about robots as well as provide a cloud connection for robots to share information between them.
