Many industry watchers fear that the employment situation may only be getting worse for Cleveland with several business closings and layoffs announced since these data were collected.

Instructional Technology Integration Tops the List of IT Priorities (The Center for Digital Education) A survey of 451 senior university IT professionals ranked instructional technology integration as their highest priority. A panel of university IT experts also created their own list, which ranked wireless access at the top. The data points from these two lists can help educators take the lead on technology at their campuses.

Strongsville creates grant program to attract new jobs and payroll to town (Cleveland.com) Under the new Job-Payroll Creation Incentive Grant Program, the city will award grants to businesses that create at least 30 new full-time positions over three years.
