EBSCO will provide a detailed overview of the EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS), EBSCOadmin and the administrative tool for A-to-Z and LinkSource. During this training session, the following topics will be addressed:
- Searching and manipulating search results in EDS
- Content currently searched in EDS
- Options for students to access full text resources
- Searching, viewing and customizing catalog items
- Customization options for EDS
- Statistic usage reports
- Customization options for A-to-Z and LinkSource
- Recently implemented and upcoming new features
- Review of the EBSCO Support Site
- Branding
A separate segment will walk through the process of setting up LinkSource and A – Z.
This training is open to staff at:
- OhioLINK libraries implementing EDS in 1Q 2013
- OhioLINK libraries planning to implement EDS any time in 2013
- OhioLINK libraries that will use LinkSource (& A – Z) as their replacement to OLINKS link resolver.
