EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) Implementation Training - Thursday, January 31, 2013

Sign up now for EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) implementation training.

EBSCO will provide a detailed overview of the EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS), EBSCOadmin and the administrative tool for A-to-Z and LinkSource. During this training session, the following topics will be addressed:

  • Searching and manipulating search results in EDS
  • Content currently searched in EDS
  • Options for students to access full text resources
  • Searching, viewing and customizing catalog items
  • Customization options for EDS
  • Statistic usage reports
  • Customization options for A-to-Z and LinkSource
  • Recently implemented and upcoming new features
  • Review of the EBSCO Support Site
  • Branding

A separate segment will walk through the process of setting up LinkSource and A – Z. 

This training is open to staff at:

  • OhioLINK libraries implementing EDS in 1Q 2013
  • OhioLINK libraries planning to implement EDS any time in 2013
  • OhioLINK libraries that will use LinkSource (& A – Z) as their replacement to OLINKS link resolver.
